Time to Play

Last Saturday was my New Catalog Open House. Thanks to everyone who came! We had a great time. (Orders should be in next Wednesday). I had made this organizer to show off at the event. It is a solid wooden organizer (with rotating bottom piece). I found it at HL a month or so ago and have been holding on to it, waiting for the new DS papers. I'm pretty pleased with the way it turned out. I used the SU Double Sided DS paper "Outlaw".

I got to spend a little time in my room tonight and made a couple of cards. Since my DH (Dear Hubby) & mother got me my dream camera for my upcoming birthday I was able to take some pictures. So you get first glimpse of what I made tonight!

I recently ordered these black & white papers from Frugalities.com. I love the simplicity of the colors. I had also purchased the velvet ribbon on the same order. The stamp is SU! "Wonderful Words" stamped on SU! confetti cream.

I have been wanted to test out my new On Board (R) items and this card came together rather quickly. The background is SU! DS papers from the Spring mini and the heart is covered with SU! Old Olive card stock. It is hard to see in the picture but there are polka dots in the old olive too.

Okay, it's getting pretty late and after being diagnosed with tendonitis today I probably should quit typing for the day :) Hope you like the new cards.
